It was an arduous trek to the top of the second highest mountain in the Southern India ( western ghats ). Evening was a disaster and couldn't make the kind of images I wanted.
Made this image the next dawn. At first light, the mist was hitting the mountains, me and my friend were at the edge of a ridge photographing the golden rays hitting the mountains covered with mist. Just as when, both of us observed a phenomenon, where in, our shadows were formed on the layer of mist. Initially, I thought the shadow was formed on the mountains. But I was wrong!
As the mist passed by, the shadows vanished!! We waited for another cloud of mist to arrive and clicked to glory!
I love to call it - " An Apparition of a Nature Photographer"
Would love to know your thoughts..
