A Ginkgo I found at the end of the rainbow
After I took this, i plucked off the leaf coming into the frame and took a few more images. But I actually prefer this one. Full frame.

Yes!!! The detail of the ginko is great. The atmosphere is like a stained glass window awash with warm light. The corner is a vexing interest. Good or a distraction? It is.... there ...suggests to me a rip in the fabric...which is OK! A point of focus and contrast. Ken S

Very nice, William. I like the dominant color, the softness, and the composition.

Well done William, perfect lighting on those Gingko leaves and backed up with a nice warm background.

Oh my goodness. How can you get so much impact out of a one color image? Gorgeous!

Excellent, Will. I think the URC protruding leaf is essential to the image for balance and interest. This is lovely.

Great shot Will. I love the textures in those leaves. What a great, minimal type shot. I am on the fence as to the leaf in the URC. I can see its merit, but I can also see a successful shot without it.

Gorgeous image! Love the intense colors and minimalist comp. I would definitely keep the leaf in the urc. Very well seen and composed.

Lighting and positioning of the two main leaves are superb. I'm not so sure of the URHC, my eye is drawn to it, for me, in an iritating way. It could be a scene from 150 million years ago when the Ginkgo was widespread over the northern temperate zone.

Will: Got an immediate -meter spike from this one. I understand your thoughts on the URC leaf but I do think I prefer it without. Perhaps I'm just being too traditional. Great find and a superlative capture. >=))>

Wow!!! This is great sutff, William! I love the simplicity and the colors are so good. I would like it without the leaf in the URC.
