this shot really turns me on . . . I mean because of its masterful composition, of course!

A sensual capture Ed, almost a sculpture of the feminine.

A beautiful tree abstract, Ed. The sensuous, flowing lines are incredible. Very well spotted!

There's also an element of Edvard Munch's The Scream here.

My kind of thinking, this is sublte and suggestive, a wealth of texture and beats a saturated mountain vista any day. Takes a keen eye to see these things and you certainly have that.

Yes, a very nice shot. I can see this framed and hanging in a cabin.

Very well seen and executed image Ed. The human like element clearly stands out and goes very well with your title. I would think choice of non-black background (may be some darker shades of grey) would increase the visual impact. :toast:

A knock-out! This is one of those images where you need to sit back a few feet from the screen to really appreciate the art and beauty. This will look great printed large. Great eye to see this.

Ed, this is one of the most evocative and creative nature images I have seen in a long time. I'd love to see a print of it some day.

Good eye for spotting this one. A prizewinner if I've ever seen one.

Ed,

I avoid making these kinds of statements, but this has got to be one of the best tree details I've seen. The texture, detail and colors are wonderful, but it's the shape and form that takes center stage. This is simply elegant.

Not much more I can add to what a bunch of people have already said Ed.
Wonderful detail and texture in this. Looks almost like fur one could reach out and pet!. Great vision in seeing and capturing this.
