Visiting Yellowstone nat, park is great, but a bit crowdy. Standing near Old faithful in an crowd, made me decide to come back another time and I actually went back at night, at ful moon.

Certainly the most unique image of Old Faithful that I've ever seen!
I really like it. Can't provide more comprehensive comments as I'm on a crappy laptop at the moment.

Very creative idea and excellent follow through.

Certainly one of the most beautiful, and unique, images of Old faithful I've ever seen. Superb.

Easily the finest and most unique presentation of one of the most boringly iconic subjects! I am quite taken with this image...it transcends the subject, and is abstract and artsy.

Wow! This is captivating not just because of your unique impression of the icon, but also because your long exposure conveys the motion of the spectacle very well. It reminds me of when I visited Yellowstone in May many years ago when many of the park's roads were still blocked by snow, and there were no crowds. I imagined the awe of early explorers visiting for the first time with little or no advance knowledge of what they were to witness. I think this image conveys that innocent awe very well.

Excellent, like your thinking, I love shooting in the moonlight, and what a subject to have.

Great work. :toast:

Very unique image. I like the motion of the geyser. Good thinking to go back after dark and shoot this. I would have thought they turned Old Faithful off at night to save energy.

Awesome shot! Looks like you got the best of both worlds, a truly unique image, and avoiding the crowds! Nice work.

Really and interesting perspective on something that is highly photographed. You've really got a unique depiction here. I like it a lot.
