Flora photography is about beauty, contemplation, and shared enjoyment. I've lurked at this site for over a year. The postings here and on your personal web pages are amazing and capture the wonderment of nature.

This is my first post in this gallery. Shot of a seed head after carefully brought home. Used household lights and my LED headlamp with some window light.

Nikon D300, Zeiss 100mm Macro, Tripod, F-22,

Ken: Welcome to NPN and to the finest Flora forum on the planet. Your lurking certainly paid off with a wonderful introductory post. Wonderful comp and the small bits of blue are powerful elements. I like this a bunch. >=))> :wavey:

Very nice shot. It looks like a Goats-beard seed head.

I like the top of the image. The bottom seems distracting to me. I would crop quiet a bit.

One of my favorite subjects. Spent hours finding different focus points and interesting macro shots. You've captured the structure of the whole, all in sharp focus. The lighting is terrific also. Well done!
