Taken a couple weeks back, and I'm really amazed in what I am starting to see. Going back to the Adirondacks for a couple of days and see what other changes have taken place.

This is gorgeous guys! I remember one you posted not so long ago, and I like that. But for me this is superior. Amazing colour, and I enjoy the comp more so in this. I like the colour contrast... strong FG and a little less in the BG due to the mist. Very delicate and peaceful scene. Well done.

beautiful composition, John. I like this one the best, so far. It does seem early for this much color.

ANother beauty! Love it. Fall is also starting earlier this year north of the border, making me starting to freak out as I had planned my workshops for late October...

Oh, wow, do I love this! How serene and dreamy, while still having lots of detail in the tree. Mmmmm. I could sit here for some time and meditate peacefully. The image captures so well the change of the season. I think this is a real winner, John!

A really wonderful capture here, John. This one is truly painterly in the overall presentation throughout. The composition, colors, and excellent detail comes through loud and clear even with the low ground fog. Excellent work.

It's a perfect scene, i really like the combo of elements and the color mix, very moody. The greens are getting close to being a bit too strong for me, but the saturation is appropriate for this scene.

This is what I call a "micro" landscape, and the pastel colors and bright light make it work. A nice little plus is the reflection in the water.

John,
I could have sworn I commented on this. Well, I know I did in my own mind... :-)
I love this. I'm surprised that the word "painterly" hasn't been made already, which is just my reaction. This is lovely, beautiful and very peaceful. This not only belongs on your wall, but in a gallery.

Hi John,
I have not been able to see NPN for a while (check your E-mail for an explanation), so when I checked today, I was totally delighted to see that this beautiful image got the EP. It takes a special talent to help others appreciate the small wonders of the world, and it’s great to see that recognized.
