It’s been many years since I last set foot in a traditional darkroom were I would spend endless hours doing black and white prints. Back then I would rarely do any color, since things have much changed. But recently I have been drawn back to processing some of my landscapes in black and white. So now in digital world it feels as if I’m starting all over again and discovering the b&w possibilities and it’s lots of fun.
This was taken on the Isle of Skye in Scotland near the Cuillins mountains.

This is really nice, and a perfect candidate for B&W. Very nicely seen, captured, and converted.

Very beautiful work. Fantastic exposure and b&w conversion. Wouldn't mind seeing a tad of a crop off the top to focus more on the cascade, which to me is central to this image and deserves more attention. But regardless, a mesmerizing shot

That splashing cascade in the foreground makes the shot for me Emmanuel. Dynamic and moody all at the same time.

Very dramatic B&W! I really like the splaying waterfall and the molten look to the rocks. Only nit is I find my eye drawn repeatedly to the upper left corner to that dark patch in the sky.

Very well done!!! I've been on Skye quite a few times now, but despite having planned trips to the pools, for some reasons it never happened so far (still intend to change that this year). I've seen several shots of the area, but this is without doubt one of the most powerful ones so far. Very well composed, perfect shutterspeed and the postprocessing has done a terrific job giving this a lot of drama. Wonderful!
