Man & Fauna - This gallery is intended to celebrate the centuries-old close relationship between man and many species of animals. We welcome photos of pets, domestics, animals confined in zoos, wildlife rehabilitation centers, game parks and reserves, as well as feral animals. If the photo was taken at a zoo, wildlife rehabilitiation center, game park or reserve, please disclose the name of the facility where the photo was taken, as well as any other information that would be of value to those interested in wildlife conservation and education. Photos of wildlife taken at commercial game farms are prohibited.

To make the most of your participation in this gallery, we suggest the following when posting a photo;

  1. Be prepared to accept all comments - both positive and negative - in an objective fashion. Remember, it’s the photo being critiqued, not the photographer.
  2. If there is any specific feedback you are looking for, such as comments on composition, lighting, etc. be sure to ask for it in your post.
  3. Use the email link to contact other members to request that they post comments on your photo. Be prepared to reciprocate when others contact you.

Some suggestions when posting comments on other photos;

  1. State what you like about the photo and why.
  2. Comment on what you think can be improved.
  3. Whenever possible, provide suggestions on how to improve the photo.
  4. Keep all comments congenial and respectful! All comments should pertain completely to the photo.

Please review the NPN Posting Guidelines, The Art of Image Critique and More Thoughts on Photo Critique for additional guidance and information. If you see a post in conflict with our Posting Guidelines, send us a Post Report.
