Anybody here experienced with scanning large format slides with the new Epson flatbed scanner? I know the old scanners and want to know if there really is such an improvement as advertised. Also anybody tried it with the wet scan unit?
The consensus seems to be no material improvement over the 4990 for large format but it may have benefit over earlier models for 35mm & 120 formats due to the higher maximum resolution.
