I've hardly picked up my camera in the last week, so this is a little over a week old. This is the storm clearing from the beach in Glen Arbor, MI last Monday.
Very nice shot Scott! I would like to see a bit more color there but then again the storm was just clearing so that may have been impossible.

Scott, I did one of these a few years ago in the rim country in AZ, about this time of year. The only difference is I thought it was clearing, but it was just coming in. Lightning struck no more than 500' away in about 2-3 minutes---love & learn.
I like the shot. Try & add some contrast & color to the clouds.
I've sold a lot of these kind of pics to the religious publications!

Scott, I agree with Jack on the contrast. There is always a market for these heavenly sky images. This is a nice shot and since the foreground looks weak composing it, or cropping it, with very little showing was a good idea.

I was a little nervous about really pushing the contrast. There's already a pretty big range of tones, just not adjacent to each other so parts do look a little washed out. I'll play around with it and see how it looks though. Thanks.
