Seabrook Island Fence & Sunrise
Please pardon the intrusion from a midwesterner but I decided to post just one image I was able to capture while staying on Seabrook Island for my niece's wedding in June. Richard B.was kind enough to suggest some photo locations on Hunting Island but time and commitments made it impossible to get there during the good light. So I settled for a few scenes within my reach.

We had chamber of commerce weather and a simply fantastic time in South Carolina. Hope you all have a safe and wonderful summer!

crop to pano, curves, sharpen

This is beautiful! I love the pink and grey colors. Really makes me want to go to the beach! The only suggestion I have would be to crop/clone out the sign on the left. Glad you had a good time in SC!

Thanks for your comments Alice. You are the second person to suggest removing the "Loggerhead Turtle nesting area" sign. I had decided to leave it in simply because of the presence of the fence, but I took a few moments tonight to remove it and sure enough, it looks a little better. Thanks for the suggestion! :wavey:

Wayne,

Glad to hear you had such a great time. The image is wonderful. Love the color in the sky and the foreground works well with the rest of the image also. Next time you are here, try and see Hunting Island too.

Beautiful shot. The pano crop works very well for this, and the colors are just beautiful.
