I know that Glen Helen/Clifton Gorge/John Bryan near Yellow Springs, OH is a normal spring destination for a lot of us here at MWNP. The Glen Helen Ecology Institute holds an annual photo contest to find images for their calendar which they sell to raise funds to support "The Glen". I decided to enter the maximum 4 images this year as a way of supporting their fund raiser. Glen Helen is a place I have enjoyed spending time since I was a teenager so it is nice to help support it in any way I can. I was recently notified that 3 of the images I entered were selected. All three images (Winter Cardinal, Late Spring in Glen Helen, and Frozen Cascades) can be seen in my gallery by clicking the portfolio link below. I am sure they will have the same contest for next year's calendar. The deadline for submissions is usually June 1. The entry forms can be found in the Glen Helen Nature Center. Thought you might like to know so we can all help support a great natural resource.
