Has anyone been up to the east side in the last couple of days? Curious about snow levels in places like Little Lakes valley, North Lake, etc. Also curious about mosquitos. Imagine they are horrible right about now, with the late snow melt, puddles and warm temperatures.
Was just up in the Eastern Sierra the past 5 days.. there is still tons of snow above 11,000ft.. ran into a few backpackers doing the Sierra Crest trail and they said it was hell up ther with all the snow cover still there lately...
Mosquitos are horrible.. You should bathe in DEET before venturing out anywhere...
