Akron Zoo
A small one by todays standards and not too photo friendly. A nice diversion or place to take the grand kids. The Lemur enclosure is not well lit as you would expect but I tried a shot at ISO3200 and thought you may like to see the result.

Nice expression on that guy. It looks pretty clean for iso 3200.

Cindy I think the 20D does iso3200 with a custom function. Please do not quote me on that since I know very little about DSLRs. I just recall reading that somewhere.

Tom as mentioned the image looks quite clean for such a high setting. I find the light (especially the light on the underside), the expression, along the with catch light in the eyes very pleasing. I do wish though that the comp. was a little tighter since I'm a little distracted by the limbs coming in the left edge. I may even goes as far as to crop over to the one vertical broken limb on the left and experiment with taking the remainder off the top, bottom or a combination of the two in order to keep the ratio

I, too, am surprised as to just how clean this is at 3200. To get to this ISO, it is one of the custom settings, which expands the ISO to 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 and "H", the last of which is actually 3200.

Thanks for posting.
