A Recent Florida Landscape
I have been spending a fair amount of time on the West Coast of FL. It is now the rainy season, so we get lots of dramatic skies this time of year.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Bob

Robert, this is beautiful. The contrast of the light on the grasses and the dark clouds is fantastic! Great shot.

This is fabulous, Bob. I've only been in the glades once since that morning with you. Definitely, we need to do it again.

Buck,

I have been real impressed with your own landscapes. One one you posted on ESS was killer.
I have been getting over to Marco about every other week or so. Lets do another trip.

Hi Bob

The afternoon clouds have been fabulous for the past week or two. I keep thinking they'd look a lot better over a vista of saw grass and cabbage palms than they do over traffic and utility poles.

Great shot. Is this down in the Everglades or somewhere else on the west coast?

Nice shot and a nice contribution to SENP. We don't usually see landscapes that don't have those bumpy things in them... uh, hills!

Ed,

Though technically this is not part of "The Everglades National Park," it is very close to it. It is between Marco Island and Everglade City.

Great thanks. I am wanting to get down to that area for a long weekend sometime.
