A resounding NO vote last night on rezoning of the Owasippe property to residential in Muskegon county, MI last night!!
Now that all the proper steps have been taken and zoning requests voted down by any and all boards in the area, the Chicago Area Boys Scouts Council will surely be taking it to court. In the meantime, the public has won this fight to preserve the 95 year old camp and it's 4,700 acres, at least for now.
