I see at least one moderator encouraging people to post on the new website. However, I haven't been able to obtain access. Is there any news about when we'll be given access? The two login systems work differently, as this site uses a user name and the new one uses an email as identification. Thus far, the email I have on file with this site and my password for this site don't seem to unlock the door.

David is being very kind and waiting on Jim to send out an e-mail to the NPN community about the new ownership and changes. That e-mail was to have been sent yesterday. David will follow up with an e-mail to the community with a welcome and instructions on how to create a new password for the new site.. Sorry for my posts encouraging people to begin using the new site. I just assumed the e-mail from Jim would have been sent when it was scheduled to be.

SUCCESS! Received the New Login email from David, and set new password and uploaded profile picture. Still bewildered by some of the preferences I think I may need to set; and can't seem to find a way to view all discussion forum posts separately from image critique and gallery posts, but hopefully I'll learn. (Hey, I survived after they took away my Kodachrome, so this should not be that hard. ;^)

Dennis, I have also logged in per David's email from yesterday. It'll take some time to learn the new interface, but I'm confident that I and everyone else will get accustomed to it. I did find this link and thought it might be helpful to some. In case anyone's interested, it's under Community in Announcements...

Click Community at the top
Click on Other Discussions
There you'll see buttons for types of discussion, or just review all the discussions that are not part of the image critiques.

Thanks Kieth, that works after I fumbled around a bit.
Since my default heading under "Community" is "Latest" I immediately got lost. If I were writing "NPN for Dummies" (like me) I would describe the process to find all the discussion forum posts this way:
1. Click on "Community" at the top
2. Click the third link over: "Categories"
3. Scroll down past "Everything Else"
4. Click on "Other Discussions"
I suppose I'll get used to the new interface. I eventually stopped trying to stuff film in my first digital camera. ;^)
