Heading for Australia soon, and want to get a lot of long-exposure, creamy waterfalls and ocean. Haven't used the 6-10 stop ND's before, so this is all new.
There are phone apps to help you set the exposure times - what apps do you landscape gurus recommend?

my favorite is ND Timer. I think it’s for both android and iPhone. It tells you the exposure and will run a timer. My husband uses one called LE calculator
I have used used a few before settling on ND timer and one thing about all of them - it is a bit of trial and error so as always check your histogram with every change
