Question re Lee Big Stopper filter

I want to get one of these filters and holders, but they are very expensive.  
1.  Anyone have a Lee filter/holder they would part with for a fair price? 
2. Are the Haida filter sets any good?
3. Any other brands worth considering?
4. will use on a 77mm and 72mm lens
5. would I want to use it on the Nikon 14-24 wide-angle  that I rarely use?  That would mean bigger filters and more expense..
