Trouble with Adobe...Anyone Else?

I was automatically signed out of my Adobe account this morning. I tried signing back in and it says my account has been deactivated. I looked at my email and it appears yesterday an email was sent saying they are confirming and processing my request for cancellation. I never canceled anything. I contacted Adobe and they were very coy with me and told me I have to wait for a call from the legal team. They said my account has been deactivated because of a possible legal issue.  I am completely baffled. Has anyone else had some weird issue like this? They wouldn't give me any information at all. I am concerned someone is messing with my account or my credit card possibly, but I haven't had issues with anyone else or any other service. Any idea??

Very weird. I have never heard of anything like this.

I contacted Adobe and they were very coy with me and told me I have to wait for a call from the legal team.

I would call them back and ask to speak to a supervisor. When you do, tell them you are not going to wait for a call from their legal department and then ask for an explanation. If they won't give you one, ask to be put through to legal. You are a paying customer and have the right to know what is going on.

I hope this works out, Kurt.

Please let us know what comes of this.

Thanks Preston, but already did that on the first call. I got transferred to a manager and they said they have no way to transfer me over and I had no choice but to wait. Looks like I might be moving to another alternative. I’m not going to put up with this sort of thing. Still, thank you for the suggestions.

Kurt.  I haven't had an issue with Adobe yet on CC, though I did trying to get CS6 transferred after CC came out.  When we've had issues with the corporate bureaucracy, our state Attorney General's office has always been very responsive.  It's amazing how quickly they respond when they get a call from the AGs office.

Sounds like an issue with a credit card to me.  Have you checked to see if you've been billed each month for your subscription.

Jumping to the AG or lawyers just sounds like a bit of an over reaction to me without knowing what the issue may be.

If your credit card is used to auto pay your account, check with the card company to see if it has somehow been compromised. Usually the bank will contact you if there is a problem, but not always.
