New member.....again!

Hi all.  I was a member before but got discouraged because I only had a Canon SX40 camera.  I "upgraded" to the SX50 when that came out because that is what I could afford.  I now am able to use a friend's Canon Rebel so am hoping to participate a little more and learn from all the talented people on here.  Since I obviously have more SX50 pictures than the Rebel at this point I am hoping that I can post some of those shots (some not all that bad) and maybe get opinions on what I could be doing to improve them.....subject placement, lighting, etc.  As I start to use the Rebel maybe I can implement the suggestions from your critiques to the Rebel usage.
