Wilson's Snipe

I posted this in the Avian Gallery and then deleted it this morning, but I thought some of you might like to see it. It's a beautiful bird, and one I've never seen before.  Sweetwater Wetlands Park, Gainesville, Florida.

Always good to catch one of these, Barbara.  I read your post on my tablet, but didn't want to comment until I'd seen it on a real computer screen.  I was surprised about your statement on the number of and most recent date of posts, since I posted two shots of one last year.  I'm not sure how you searched, but I just typed snipe in the search box at he top of the avian gallery and got nearly a page of hits.  A couple of them were false positives, but most were on target, though quite a few were common snipes from Britain-not a lot of difference if you're looking to compare photographs.
