It was in early 2003 when I switched from 35mm to medium format film. The motivation behind this change was simple – make larger and more detailed prints. So, armed with a Pentax 67ii camera and a few lenses I set out to find new things to photograph. Nearly fifteen years later I am happy to discover that I have amassed a collection of one hundred finished images. A lot of things have changed since the onset of this journey (a digital SLR has replaced my trusted Pentax) but the thrill of photography – capturing that elusive moment and translating it into a final expression on paper – remains strong.
I’d like to invite you to visit my website (www.anilraophotography.com) where all the images are on display.
To me one of the greatest joys of art making is being able to share my work with others. Toward that end I am offering prints of these images at no cost. This program is limited to a maximum of 100 prints and runs from now through the end of the year. If you would like to have a print or two from this collection of images let me know via email and I’ll try to get them out to you soon.
Print Details:
Paper Size : 11” x 14”
Paper Type : Hahnemuhle Photo Rag (308 gsm)
Inkset : Epson Ultrachrome HDX
Restrictions:
There is a two-print limit per-person.
To keep things interesting (and to ensure that I am not printing the same image over and over again) no more than five prints of a single image will be made.
The high cost of international shipping is beyond my current budget. Therefore, the prints can be sent only to mailing addresses within the United States.
I hope you enjoy the images on the web-site and the prints.
Regards,

Oh my gosh!!! This is exciting. I will be doing this in a big hurry Anil. Thank you so much for this early Christmas present!

Thank you for your generous offer. It is much appreciated. I will email you.

That's very generous of you, Anil.

Anil, people must not be reading the forums. Your offer is incredibly generous, your work is amazing, and you're one of the finest photographers I know, and yet, there has been little interest. I am truly shaking my head. Hopefully people are busy emailing you or PM'ing you with requests because, otherwise, this makes no sense whatsoever.
All I know is that I'm waiting in eager anticipation on my requested prints. I can't wait to see them, to mat and frame them, and to proudly hand them on my walls. Thank you so much for this gift.
PS. I received your email last night but I didn't get in until late and didn't have a chance to answer you. Will try to tonight.

Thanks Bill, Sandy, Igor, Patricia and Stephen.
@Bill:
You are correct, this offer has generated very little interest on NPN. Outside of those who replied (to this thread), I have heard from only one other member so far. With the thread getting more than 100 views and assuming NPNers like prints, I can only conclude that my work does not resonate much with the folks here.
On the flip side, more than half of the "hundred print" offer is already spoken for. These other requests are from individuals who visited my website directly. So I am busy making prints and very glad to be sharing them with so many people.

Anil, on the contrary. I love your work as I'm sure many do here at NPN.......
As one who has my walls covered with my own work from 30 years of photographic outings I have no wall space for your very fine and very generous offer of another print. So, please do not see the lack of responses here as a negative of thoughts about the quality of your work that simply is not true at all. Overall it still sounds like you've already found homes for 50% of your prints through other avenues. Congratulations on that admirable gift to so many out there during this holiday season. Good luck going forward with your outstanding offer.
