Hi
I am looking at buying a Sigma 150-600 C to dock to my Canon 7Dll and was looking for input on it's Image Stabilizer and tracking ability.  What concern me with the I.S. is, I did not see a stabilized image in the view at finder at 600mm when it  was activated? I was told you can change that by docking their set-up dock?  Also how well does the lens track birds in flight?
On the Canon 100-400 ll lens with a 1.4 ext. and only center point focusing, how hard is to track a bird in flight?

Peter, I fixed the error in your title to read "150" instead of 1500.

Peter.  Barbara Graham had a very similar post a few months ago.  You might look at the comments on it.  As you know I use the Sigma.  I've been completely satisfied with it's performance to the point where I sold my 500 f/4 last winter.  I don't remember ever having an issue with the vibration reduction.  I also usually use the points surrounding the center point for autofocus when I'm planning on flight shots-mostly for quicker acquisition since my aim is horrible.  Hope this helps.
