How many PNW photographers were able to see the totality? I was just outside the town of Mitchell, OR. We found a nice spot right off highway 26 on the upper edge of a nice valley with an unobstructed view and few people. It was an excellent experience! Where were you?

Sandy, you must have had a ton of smoke. The Milli fire was too close for comfort!

By the way Sandy, thanks for the tip about Colin Smith's eclipse processing tutorial. That was very helpful. I learned a few new Photoshop tricks!

I was south of totality in Gold Beach. My brother and I were riding the Oregon Coast, but had to stop there because of the Chetco Bar fire. There was so much smoke, we didn't need viewing glasses to see the partial where we were.
Your images came out great Steve; nice composite!

We stopped along the highway just north of Shaniko Steve. It was perfect. Totality and we got out of there before the crush of cars heading back to Wahsington. Your series is excellent.
