Long weekend - Kingsport, TN

I will have a long weekend in early June in the Kingsport area. Never been there. Any suggestions for places to see for nature photography - birds, mammals, reptiles etc. Any help greatly appreciated.

Yeah, pleanty of good stuff less than an hour in both directions. You might be able to catch a rhodie in bloom before you leave. I'm 20 minutes away in Johnson City.
