I lost my Mom at 9:35 pm Monday night to complications from a Cancer that was just discovered 3 weeks ago. She went from her normal active, happy self to no longer with us very quickly. She left as she lived her life, always thinking of others.
Strong. Adventurous. Selfless. Martha Janette Ramy was that woman. We said goodbye to her on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017. But we will always remember her sweet spirit, her fried okra, sausage balls and rum cake along with her hugs and kisses and her never ending desire to love big. She was an inspiration to so many people during her 83 years with her kindness and giving attitude towards life.
Born in Fort Gaines Georgia, on December 17, 1933, she made her home on Lively Trail in Atlanta. In that home, for over 50 years, she welcomed countless friends and family and showered them with love, good food and lots of laughter.
She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

I'm very sorry for your loss. She sounds like a woman who brought much good to the world.
So sorry, Mike - but a spirit like hers lives on forever. That's a wonderful picture of strength, determination, independence and fortitude. I hope there is some comfort for you all that she was saved from facing a very long and tortuous battle that would have taken much of her independence.
We wish you strength, sweet memories and healing. You will feel her presence often.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Mike. Her legacy lives on your memories, and those of the rest of your family, and all of her friends.

Mike, Your Mom was obviously a wonderful person, and because of that, the world will continue to be a better place. Her memory and her influence on others will live on. I know you are feeling a great loss now, but soon every memory of her will bring you a smile.

My condolences Mike. It may have been blessing for her to have gone so quickly. It may not seem like now, but having gone through an extended illness with my Dad, it would have saved a lot of pain. My thoughts are with you.
