While accustomed to the fantastic dynamic range of the D750 over the last couple of years I must say the D500 with it's awesome AF and equally impressive dynamic range is a pure joy to shoot with. While at the Bosque a couple weeks ago for a quite short visit I put the D500 through the paces during some difficult light. Love to hear any opinions on this sample image. Below is the processed image using LR, the NIK suite (I did run it through Define twice for extra noise reduction), and PS for some selective sharpening. The second post is the exported unprocessed RAW image. The morning this was shot there was a very heavy overcast at the crane pools which never did improve. What does everyone think?
