This summer I purchased the Gorilla pod Focus but the stud used to mount the quick slide plate to my Canon T5i or my Sigma 150-600C is too big. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a different stud. Goby has not been very helpful at all.
Have a good morning,

Hi Brian. Is it the wrong diameter or just too long? This is odd because as far as I'm aware this is one area where the camera manufacturers have actually standardized and they all use 1/4 inch diameter studs with 20 threads per inch. If it's just too long, you could try a good hardware store-they might have the hex drive in the specialty fastener section. If not, any camera shop should stock them. I think you can order them from Really Right Stuff as well, but they're probably more expensive.

Hey Dennis,
The screw diameter is too big.

Sounds like you have a 3/8 screw and need to downsize it to 1/4. I'd guess a good hardware store would have such a screw thread adaptor. The problem with the adaptor is that you might not be able to get the camera base down to the base of the Gorilla POD

Brian: I just looked at the Goby website and the "ultraplate". Their specs say it should have a standard 1/4-20 mounting screw to go into your camera. I don't know of anyone using another fitting on the bottom of a digital SLR. The Focus Pod itself does come with a 1/4-20 screw and an 3/8-16 adaptor to screw into whatever tripod head you're using with it, since many of them use a 3/8 fastener.
If you have another camera or lens plate, you should be able to use a fastener from it to attach the ultraplate. If you want to check the fastener on the ultraplate, try screwing the focus pod directly into the camera (after removing the 3/8 adaptor, if it's installed). If that works, then they somehow sent you a plate with a bad fastener and you should be able to just get a new one.

Thanks everyone,
I made a second contact with Goby and finally got an answer. The larger stud is just an adapter that comes off to expose the smaller 1/4 inch stud. Lesson learned.
Have a great night everyone.
