Found a couple of egrets on Long Beach Peninsula recently.  In my experience a bit unusual for there. Shore birds are intermittently stopping over on their way south. A lot some days and none others. Several river otters in different places.

Egrets and river otters?  Sounds like a good day!  I don't recall seeing an Egret on the PNW coast.  I'm not a birder so I could have just not noticed.
