We plan to spend 3-4 days at Moab in October.  Does anyone have a suggestion for a photo guide?

You can try Bret Edge. He used to be a very active NPN member. He lives in Moab and does photo tours and guiding. I met him once at his gallery in Moab. Nice guy.   If you talk to him, tell him hi for me.

Patrick,

I'll 'third' the votes for Bret.

Bret's web site.

In case you meant a book photo guide there is:

Photographing the Southwest Volume 1 by Laurent Martres.

Brett is a great choice, as is Tom Till if he's in town and available.

With or without a personal guide, getting Laurent's book is highly recommended. http://www.phototripusa.com/

I thought of Tom also, however, I saw a clip that he was taking a sabbatical into 2017. Sorry, I don't recall where I saw the info, so it would surely be an item to verify if any thoughts of trying to seek Tom out for any assistance.

Another vote for Bret.  If he's away or busy  you want a guide rather than a book, you could also try Moab Photo Tours-- oops, just saw Jon is on sabbatical until April 2017 doing humanitarian work.

I used Laurent's book while there. Turned out very well.
