I have a bunch of wedding pictures my friend wants printed. I tried to print  the high-quality files from my CF card, but the files were too big.
What size should I re-size them to be able to use the do-it-yourself printing machines in many drugstores?? The clerk there had no idea.
Thanks for any help!

I would size them to the physical size of the print at 240 dpi, TIFF format. Pick a few of the photos and have them printed as a test run to see how their machine handles color, contrast, etc. and then adjust your files accordingly.

I hope this helps!

Have you tried Zenfolio print services?  They are fairly reasonable especially with the smaller format prints. I used them for my sons wedding last year and offered prints at base prices if anyone wanted them Several relative and friends took advantage of it.   I usually get ~two day turnaround too.  I was also able to produce a lovely album for Brian and Ashley as a Christmas present from Zenfolio via MPIX.
