I saw this update on Badger Graphics......cheeky

Ebony Camera will be going out of business June 30, 2016. Place you order SOON if you ever wanted one of theses fine cameras.

A long tradition of fine large format cameras is slowly becoming history. Too bad. Ebony cameras really are works of art.

Agreed. If said about a car manufacturer it would have been the name Cadillac........cheeky

I think Chamonix took a huge toll on Ebony, compounded by the huge difference in price point . I know mG+ owned both for a while and liked the Chamonix so much, he sold the Ebony.  Sad to see nonetheless.

I totally agree, Harley. Of course there were many other LF units available years back as direct competition to Ebony but they always seemed to have their own following and loyalty. When Chamonix came out and made a solid product at a reduced price the gauntlet was laid down. Too bad as you said, but that is what product sales competition is all about in the end......indecision
