Winter made a brief return this weekend to NoAz. Not a lot of snow- 3" at the house and a few more on the San Francisco Peaks. The sky was mostly clear to the west yesterday afternoon, so I hoped any clouds above the Peaks would light up well. Ended up with some warm light tipping the tops and putting a nice glow behind Mt. Humphreys as seen from the north side. I wonder what it looked like from the Flagstaff side of the mountain.

Very nice, Doug. That light ont he peaks makes me wistful. We got >2'. Yes, I meant "feet". Spent 4 1/2 hours with the neighbors helping the plow get the main roads clear in our neighborhood. But I digress. I think that the orange highlights would stand out more if you cropped a bit off the top (at least looking at it scrolling).

Thanks Monica. I had another exposure that was more tightly cropped top and sides, that I prefer. Posted it on 500px if you look there.
