Adobe released an update to address this problem that I saw this AM.  I have my Macs configured to ask me before installing Creative Cloud updates.  The buggy version was not installed for me.  Hopefully for others, if there was an issue, a quick Time machine recover will resolve the problem.

That is messed up!!!!  I am still on CS6, but if I had installed that and it deleted my files, I would be a very unhappy camper.
