I've finally gotten around to working on using fill flash and I'm not finding the compensation level in the Metadata table in Lightroom 5. I tried looking in the book I have on LR and it didn't provide any help. Then I thought maybe I had to changd a camera setting to include it, but I couldn't find anything in the 7D Mark II manual on it, so I'm at a loss. Since others report it on their images, I'm sure it gets stored somewhere.
Dennis, I get all my EXIF info from Nikon View, copyable and editable. I don't know if Canon has a similar program, but you might check.

Thanks, Phil. Canon provides a similar software (Digital Photo Professional) that I'd never used, though I have heard that many prefer it for RAW conversion. Nate informed me that the info would be there, and it is. I'm still finding it hard to believe that it's not accessible in Lightroom, forcing one to go to another piece of software to get it.
