I'm not sure which forum to post this in so I'm starting here.  I am spending a few days in Prescott, AZ in mid January and am looking for suggestions as to good locations for taking landscape / wildlife photographs.  I know about Sedona / Oak Creek and Jerome and will probably go both places.  I was wondering if anyone has some locations which aren't well known.

Thanks.

I rarely get to Prescott so this isn't verty definitive. Watson Lake has some interesting formations and occasionally attracts some unusual waterfoul. There are a few other small lakes scattered around that also have hosted unusual birds in thre past that have been reported on the AZ birds list, but nothing  Also try Dead Horse Ranch State Park. Flagstaff isn't that far away and you could visit Sunset Crater National Monument as well as Wupatki National Monument.

Try this website for other ideas.

Richard's mention of Watson Lake in Prescott Valley covers my suggestion.
