Last night I shot the night sky above Balanced Rock. In one of the photos a strange streak of light appeared in the sky and I have no idea what it could be. Anyone seen something like this before? What is it?! This is an unprocessed jpeg crop from the unprocessed RAW file.

Led Zeppelins Stairway to Heaven? or a plane with light on wing tips and flashing beacon?

I'm with Doug. But it may be more of an escalator than stairway. Also agree on the plane.

I believe it's the ISS. The two lines of light are the solar arrays that protrude on either side. I first photographed it last summer while high in the Snowy Range of Wyoming.

Aliens. Or an airplane with steady wingtip lights and flashing beacons. I prefer aliens.

I was kinda hoping it was an alien craft and that my photo would be worth millions. Damn!
