I received this update this morning from a supplier in Japan. Fuji plans some price increases in the future, as well as dropping most all 220 roll films left. I knew only a couple folks who used 220 instead of 120 rolls. No biggie there, just have to change the rolls more often.......*>)
Looks like the V-100F and Provia 400F are being dropped too.
The price is marked-up ave.+20% after Oct, 2015
And these films will be discontinued after Apr,2016 or before it.
Harley, as far as I know Provia and the regular non "F" Velvia 100 and Velvia 50 are still available. You must go directly to Japan for V-50 in 4x5. But I've done it and it worked without a hitch. You do have to fuss a bit with Paypal and Yen to Dollar exchange rate but it was no issue for me at the time. The prices were very good IMO.....no more then we were paying B&H before they lost access. The contact I have will give a current quote just before you send to his Paypal account.
The whole thing with V-50 is a distribution thing not a non production thing, so far anyway......
btw: when I got my order of 100 sheets awhile back now they were all dated out to the end of 2016, so very fresh brand new......
