Fighting Gulls
Not the most exiting of birds, black headed gulls but I like the interaction, it somehow reflects the character of the birds. I took the shot from the car window at the entrance of the RSPBs latest avian theme park that they are developing on Wallasea Island on the south bank of the River Crouch, Essex. It is a huge wetland site that will attract thousands of migrating birds to the area if they can avoid being killed by the 2000+ wind turbines that encircle the site! .

Bob I like the way that the top birds head shows under the wing, you did well to get this sharp with a shutter speed of 250,very well caught.
