Sometimes the oil & gas exploration roads yield a different treasure.
2 exposures, one for the sky, one for the interior. While processing, I wondered if I should have thrown some sand into the air for the sunbeam -- obviously, I've never been to either of the Antelope Canyons!

This is cool. I see a good number of similar shots living here in Arizona. A couple of things: I like the glow on the rocks but think you could selectively saturate that area a bit more. I would also give it a bit more contrast overall- as as it feels a bit soft and that could help to sharpen it without sharpening. Next thing is the sky. It seems a bit off color-wise. I would select just the sky and nudge the tint and brightness sliders a smidge to get to a blue that feels good to you. I don't know how to describe how much you'll just have to play with it. Lastly, the bright sunlit square seems too hot- I'd back that off a little. Of course these adjustments are what I would do- we all have different approaches and are looking for our own personal result.

Bob, thanks for your detailed suggestions. It does look quite different here than printed on my Epson at home. It looks pretty washed out here, whereas the print looks pretty much like your suggestions! It makes me wonder if I posted the right one, in fact -- can I blame it on the compression? The sunlight patch is still bright, but it's as far as I could get it without the colors starting to look funky. The sky color I didn't touch in processing as I processed each shot separately, before blending., but I'll decrease the green
