Skagit Valley Tulips
I caught this sunrise last Friday, then stayed till 11am to shoot at various fields. A nice morning. Rain followed me as I drove home.

The tulips are peaking for the next week or so. Not as many fields are planted in tulips and more often they are charging a fee to park. Times are a-charging….ka-ching!

…Hi Jim G. thanks for the comment. Snow geese… I only hear of them in Jan/ Feb…My guess is they already headed north and vacated the area.

Beautiful shot. Sharp throughout and the color is exquisite. I will be traveling through the area on way to Vancouver but not until Sunday the 12th. Hope some are left. Any snow geese?

Beautiful vibrant colors and nice comp. I like the fresh new sun illuminating the brilliant colors of the tulips. Well done!

great image - we found out about the "tulip" festival when we were in seattle - but the fields peaked early this year. Oh well
