This bird was in my backyard this morning. From a distance I thought it might be a fluffed up female house sparrow, but looking at it more closely that doesn't seem quite right. I haven't seen anything exactly like it in my bird guides. Thank you in advance for any ID help.

The bill shape suggests house finch. There appears to be some streaking on the breast too...............................Jim
