An interesting item for those who might still use film. Ilford is a B&W film manufacturer out of the UK.

One of the big ways people got started was by first receiving a film camera as a gift from a friend or family member


Conclusion: give a film camera as a gift!

What about people who only shoot Ilford B&W - i.e., me!! :jump:

Hey Stuart, what really surprised me was the number of the newer folks starting out doing their own processing. Albeit B&W, but it still shows their willingness to keep things rolling along. Granted, I'm sure a lot of those folks are a bit remote from metro areas where there still is processing locations. However, the folks in the UK are very into doing their own processing, both B&W and color, even E-6 too. :cool:
