MO Swans
Sunrise Sat. morning found me across from Alton,IL at the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary. They have several hundred Trumpeters there. The ice keeps them far enough from the viewing area that they are hard to reach. The light was pretty nice for a while, but I sat there for a couple hours waiting for some to fly and they were inno hurry to move. I did catch some in the evening as the light was fading. Great sight to see them having made such a comeback. Got to meet some new people and got several decent shots what more could you ask.

It is good to see the Trumpeters making a comeback, Kendall. I've only seen one pair and that was in a wildlife sanctuary. Thanks for sharing :)
