Up to the L&D today the fisherman were out in force. There were some photographers and viewers and probably 75-100 eagles. The eagle numbers have been fluctuating every trip as the conditions change. I also think that some are passing through as they drop further South.
Kept this shot liked the contrast in fishing styles. Met some new people and touched base with some that are around every year. It was a nice day upper 20's, decent light, lovely way to spend a couple hours.

I miss those winter days seeing eagles along the Upper Mississippi. Glad you are able to get out and see them. The Olympus body with that 500mm Sigma sounds like a great combo for birds.
