El Capitan in Guadalupe Mountains National Park in west Texas. I made a trip here between Christmas and New Years and arrived at the park in a rare snow. Woke up to winter wonderland. Here is El Cap and Guadalupe Peak (highest point in Texas) at dawn.
I put up a long blog post with my photography year in review highlighted with several images from various trips and photographing around town
Some nice images and memories. I like seeing your parts of the world through your posts, looking forward to 2015.

Wow Darren, it looks like you had a great year. I will probably be visiting Texas more in the future so I am glad to get some ideas of what to look for. The hill country particularly interests me and is closest to me and the areas I might visit.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all. Despite our shrinking participation here I still like having something devoted to our part of the country. We have so many opportunities and so few people who photograph.
