Merry Christmas!

OK, OK, these aren't very "Christmas-y", but it was starting to snow (which turned to rain this evening). I'd never been to the diminutive Tukuhnikvista Arch, so we went for a hike up there. On the way back, the clouds were rolling in pretty heavily & I wanted to capture something with them, hence the 2nd image.

I ducked under the WSA fence (OK for foot traffic) & found this composition before it got totally socked in. I could only imagine how much mountain bike and 4WD traffic this trail gets in the "on" season. Nobody else was there today.

Somber and moody images, which capture the feeling of the moment. You probably have a bit more plain gray sky in the bottom image than you need to convey your message. No harm in cropping to an 8x10 aspect ratio.
