Ramsey Canyon Color - Huachuca Mountains, AZ
Hi all-

I'm posting a selection of images from a spot I would think that few of you have visited. The Huachuca Mountains are located very near the Arizona/Mexico border near Sierra Vista and Fort Huachuca Army base. A portion of the mountains are within the base and require you to enter the gate and show ID and state your purpose. We attempted to get into Garden Canyon from the base but were unable due to roads closed to even walk-in by the military. Tallest peak in the range is Miller Peak 9,466 ft. The pictures presented here were taken at the Ramsey Canyon Preserve, cared for by the Nature Conservancy. Photo date was 12/1 so anyone who wants to do last minute fall color shooting should put this area on your list.

Bob, I have visited Ramsey Canyon and found it to be an "inviting" quiet place for the camera"s soul. Your images here tell it's tale beautifully.
Thanks for posting and reminding me to revisit.
