So Adobe says that Lightroom 5 has update 7 available. I can't figure out how to do it. This happened to me with 6 as well. I'm stuck in version 5.4. I follow the directions and choose to download by clicking on Save. It starts to do the download and takes about 30 minutes or so. Says it's done it but nothing has happened and I can't find it despite looking both in Windows and Adobe on my C: drive. This can't be difficult to do but I seem to be missing some key point. Can anyone solve this for me.
Thanks

Peter:
Sounds like you are on a Windows Machine. The download for the update should be in your "DownLoads" Folder. (I think that is the name on Windows. You need to open that folder, and run the installer. The installer should be a file name something like this:
Lightroom_5_LS11_win_5_7.exe
That file is the update installer.

Thanks much, Keith. That was it. Took about 5 minutes to unzip and then do it's thing. I'm rebooting now and I should be all set to go.
